बहुत अच्छा सवाल है. यूनिकोड एक ऐसा तरीका है जिसमें विश्व की सभी लिपियों के अक्षरों को एक अद्वितीय चिन्ह प्रदान करने का प्रयास किया गया है. चूंकि यह एक सर्वमान्य तरीका है इसलिए यूनीकोड में लिखे गए अक्षर किसी भी आधुनिक ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम पर आराम से देखे जा सकते हैं. जबकि पुराने तरीके में अलग-अलग कम्प्युटर पर लिखा हुआ पढने में परेशानी होती थी. नीचे के लिंक में काफी जानकारी है:
